Product introduction:
Coomassie brilliant blue R250 staining solution is used as staining and does not contain toxic methanol. It is mainly used for routine dyeing of protein electrophoresis polyacrylamide gel. And can be used as supplement reagent for G2012 Coomassie brilliant blue R250 staining solution kit.

Usage:  
1)Conventional staining and destaining methods:
1. At the end of electrophoresis, the polyacrylamide gel was taken out and put into the proper amount of Coomassie brilliant blue R250 staining solution.
2. Staining 4-12h at room temperature on a horizontal shaker, can also increase the temperature appropriately to reduce the staining time.
3. Pour out the staining solution, add appropriate amount of Coomassie brilliant blue R250 staining solution to cover the gel, destaining at room temperature 4-12h, until the gel background is clean, you can see a clearer dark blue protein band. The destaining solution should be replaced during the period.
2)Rapid staining and destaining methods:
1. After electrophoresis, take out polyacrylamide gel and wash it in distilled water twice, then add proper amount of Coomassie brilliant blue R250 staining solution, so that the dye solution is just covered with gel. Heat in microwave oven to 70-80ºC, avoid boiling of staining solution during gel breakage.
2. Then, at a higher temperature of the staining solution, about 5min were stained on a room temperature shaker until a clear protein band could be seen.
3. Pour out the staining solution, add appropriate amount of Coomassie brilliant blue R250 staining solution to cover the gel, put into the microwave oven at low heat to 70-80ºC, during which the staining should avoid boiling. If the destaining solution is kept at a higher temperature, the destaining solution can be replaced 2-3times during the 20-30min of destaining until the expected staining results are achieved.
4. After destaining, the gel can be stored in water or water containing 20% glycerol and photographed as soon as possible. Dry glue can be prepared if long-term preservation is required.


Notes:
1. Coomassie brilliant blue R250 staining solution can be recycled and reused.
2. For glue with a concentration of less than 10%, be careful to avoid breaking.
3. If using rapid dyeing and destaining method, because the dyeing solution and destaining solution contain ethanol, be sure to use microwave oven low-fire heating, pay attention to safety.
4. Please wear lab clothes and disposable gloves.
