Chamomile is a well-known garden herbs and its reputation as a medicinal plant shows little signs of abatement. The Egyptians reverenced it for its virtues, and from their

but lost time and labour to describe it. Chamomile Extract Apigeninapigenin is a polyphenol,
and is one of the flavonoids found in many of the foods consumed by humans. Technically,
it is a flavone with three OH groups on it. This compound is being widely studied for its
anti-cancer properties. In particular, it has some anti-tumor properties that some other
flavonoids lack. At present, apigenin has much application in medicine, food and other industries.
