Role of anatase titanium dioxide in electrode coating:
Enhance the plastic coating, viscosity, so that the electrode is easy to pressure coating production, to reduce the arc voltage, stable arc, reduce splashing, excellent performance, fine weld.
Influence on welding process performance:
The tail temperature rise of the electrode with large rutile content in titanium dioxide was slightly lower, and the tail temperature rise of anatase content was higher. Excessive amount of high titanium electrode in the weld easy hot crack, poor mechanical properties, especially cold bending broken.
