Introduction
1. the guidebook is applied for our BKMJ series metallized shunt capacitor.
2. BKMJ series capacitor is applied for the A.C. power net under 2KV with 50/60Hz power
frequency in order to increase the power factor. The product is conformed with IEC831-1 and IEC831-2 and GB12747 Self-healing L.V. Shunt Capacitor
3. The meaning of product type is as following:
Character:
The series capacitor made of the polypropylene film dielectric , Ag-Zn metallized plating layer with the thick metal layer on edge, which make the products with the character of good self-healing and good capacitance stability ,special spraying method which make the product with good resistance of surge, special impregnate craft make the capacitor with not only the dry-type structure but also oil impregnate advantage , indoor filled with vermiculite to protection the capacitor, indoor discharge resistance , small volume,light weight,low loss,without explosion and burning,without oil,without pollution,safe and stable.

3. capacitance deviation: deviation between the real capacitance and rated capacitance is not over 0~+10%, the rate between the max capacitance and min capacitance of terminal phase is not over 1.08

Shipping and Storage
1. The capacitor should be shipped with productive work package and be carried
carefully.
2. The capacitor should be stored in the room of dry and without corrosive gas.
User acceptance and test
1. the user should check whether the product is conform with the nameplate or not.
2. capacitance test: according the nameplate , test the capacitance of product.
3. withstand voltage test: according to 75 percent of the ex-work experimental voltage.
4. test of tangent of loss tangle: according to the standard
 
Installment and operation regulation:
1. the capacitor should be installed by the requirement condition. At the same time the direct sunshine should be avoided, without corrosive gas and explosion, well ventilated .
2. the distance between capacitor and wall isn't less than 25mm.
3. The voltage rising from the capacitor should be considered before the capacitor installed to prevent the capacitor long-term operating under the over voltage.
4. On the condition that the capacitor is connected with respond electric motor, the capacitor current should be less than 90% of the motor rated current.
5. When the capacitor should be put into and separated many times , the surplus voltage of capacitor should be less than 10% of rated voltage before the capacitor is put into the power net.
6. The capacitor should not permitted to operate on the condition that the working current is over 1.3 rated current. The system respond wave should be considered when the capacitor is installed.
7. The capacitor terminal and ground terminal should be connected with insulation soft copper well. The insulation Gum coil should be installed in order to preventing the insulation skin of inductive wire from being cut.
8. The cable should be chosen according to the capacitance of device.
