Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) is a commonly used buffer solution for biological research. It is a water-based salt solution that contains sodium chloride and Phosphate. The PBS buffer helps maintain a constant pH value, and its osmotic pressure and ion concentration are usually close to the body'S pH (iso-osmoia).


Application:
Phosphate buffer is widely used in general pathology experiments,  tissues and slicings washing, preparation of antibodies, etc. PBS cannot be used in cell culture because it does not contain potassium salt,  and non-sterile characteristic.  Each pack powder can be dissolved in 2L solution distilled water.
