1. Application

Nonmetallic sheathed NMB cable is used in dry applications, as branch circuits for outlets, lighting and other residential loads. It may be fished through masonry or tile walls, where not exposed or subject to excessive moisture or dampness.

  1. Conductor: annealed copper, comply to ASTM B3
  2. Insulation: PVC, type THHN.
  Color for 2 conductors: white, black;
  Color for 3 conductors: white, black, red
  1. Wrapping: kraft paper tape over the grounding conductor
  2. Core jacket: Nylon
  3. assembly: the conductor laid parallel, with kraft paper tape wrapped.
  4. Jacket: PVC, flame retardant. 90ºC.
