TBST TBS Buffer with Tween-20 for Western Blot
Product Description

TBST buffer, namely TBS with Tween-20, is an isosmotic buffer salt solution commonly used in biology. Tris-HCl forms a stable pH buffer system, NaCl provides isosmotic conditions, Tween-20 as a detergent can increase the elution ability of buffer solution.It can be used to wash the non-specific bound antibodies and other reagents on the membrane in Western Blot experiments, as well as the preparation of blocking solution in immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry experiments, the preparation of primary antibody or secondary antibody, and the washing of primary antibody or secondary antibody after incubation, so as to reduce the background and enhance the SNR. This product is a 10-fold concentrate, the main groups are 100 mM Tris, 1.5 mM NaCl, 1% Tween-20, need to be diluted 10 times before use.
 
Product Usage
 

100 mL of this product was taken and fully mixed with 900 mL of deionized water or distilled water to obtain 1×TBST working solution containing 10 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, 0.1% Tween-20, pH 7.4-7.6@25ºC. 

Notes
 

Storage and transportation: Store at room temperature, valid for 18 months.

 

1. After the product is diluted into 1× working solution, it should be stored at 4ºC and used up within one month. Use within a week if stored at room temperature.
2. If the product crystallizes out, please place it in water bath at 37ºC until it is completely dissolved. It will not affect the use.
3. Please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
