Intended Use

For isolation and purification of high-quality viral DNA / RNA from serum, plasma, swab preservation solution or various virus preservation solutions. Only available for lab on IVD application.

Test Principle

During the nucleic acid extraction process, the magnetic bead adsorption principle is used to adsorb, transfer, and purify nucleic acids through special magnetic beads to automatically complete the nucleic acid extraction.

Storage and Expiry date
Proteinase K is stored at 2-8ºC for short time,long term storage at -20ºC or below, and avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Other contents could be stored at room temperature. Expiry date is 12 months.

Sample requirements

Fresh samples. Experiment as soon as possible after sample collection. It can be stored temporarily at 2-8ºC. If long-term storage, it should be stored below -20ºC or -80ºC.

Operation steps

1. Sample preparation Swabs:
For wet swab (swab in preservation liquid), please vortex the preservation liquid with swab thoroughly for 1 minute. Then take 200μL preservation liquid as sample for extraction.
For dry swab, please add 1ml of 1×PBS Buffer to resuspend. Vortex to mix it thoroughly for 1 minute and take 200μL as
sample for extraction.

Serum and plasma:

For plasma, serum or cell-free body fluid (equilibrate the samples to room temperature(20-25ºC)) , add 200μL samples directly for extraction directly.

Pre-packaged deep well plate preparation
1. Carefully tear the plastic film of the pre-packaged deep-well plate, add 200μL samples and 25 μL proteinase K into each hole of Plate Station 1.
2. Put all the 5 plates into the extractor smoothly (for example, put plate 1 onto station 1, plate 2 onto station 2 …), and then insert the stirring sleeve into the card slot.

Procedure of setting up the extractor

The procedure for setting up the nucleic acid extractor is as follows.

1. Set parameters refer to the table.
2. After setting all the parameters, click "save" and "download", then click "Run" to start.

5. After the experiment is completed, transfer the DNA/RNA solution in the No.6 deep-well plate to a clean nuclease-free centrifuge tube for direct downstream experiments or to be stored at -20ºC or below.
