The operation conditions of the telescopic elastomeric sleeve for the mud pulser
1.  Be used in weak-acid or alkaline drilling mud
2.  The max operation temperature is: 150ºC.
3.  The service life is no less than 200 hrs.
4.  Both sides of the telescopic elastomeric sleeve are pressure-balanced under downhole environment. Its range of the operation stroke is 8.8mm~10.2mm and the range of the operation frequency is 0.5~0.8Hz.
The telescopic elastomeric sleeve is a key part mounted on the mud pulser of the series 650 SPERRY-SUN MWD system, whose service life and reliability directly gets relation with the safety of MWD system. The telescopic elastomeric sleeve receives satisfactory results by the continuous 125ºCX200hr lab test and the 200-hour downhole test and it basically reaches the level of the import. In the past, because the product totally depended on the import which was very expensive and has long delivery periods, and sometimes this causes great inconvenience indeed for the customers. So the homemade product has great promotional value in oilfield market.
