| Feature | It has a slight spicy taste. Easy to hygroscopic, stable under normal conditions, but at high temperatures easy to produce propanal, lactic acid, pyruvate and acetic acid. It is miscible with water, acetone and chloroform and dissolves in ether. The median lethal dose (rats, via mouth) was 25ml/kg. |
