WP Pure tungsten welding rods are basically unalloyed; it contain a minimum of 99.5% tungsten and has a very high work function. So arc starting becomes more difficult than other tungsten welding rod and keeping the stable arc are not easy and it has a shorter life since we weld the metals like aluminum and magnesium.
