ZXWM M900, launched by ZE Corporation, is DWDM equipment targeting long-haul backbone network applications.
It features large capacity (1.92T), ultra long haul (over 5400km) and smooth upgradeability of 400G/480G-800G/960G-1920G.

Super-large-capacity transmission system
With 192-wavelength system framework, subsystem can perform modular capacity expansion, with transmission capacities of 400Gbit/s, 480Gbit/s, 800Gbit/s, 960Gbit/s and even to 1920Gbit/s available, addressing tomorrow's escalating bandwidth requirements.
IWF (integrated wavelength feedback) patented technique
Combination of patented wavelength centralized monitoring technique and precise temperature control further guarantees the wavelength stability of 50GHz wavelength spacing system.
ZTE OTU adopts high-precision algorithm and supports 50GHz-wavelength-spacing transmission. As level 2 security mechanism, IWF offers wavelength drift monitoring function, performs automatic wavelength calibration, further guaranteeing wavelength stability of 50GHz-wavelength-spacing system, enhancing system stability and easing system maintenance.
RAC(receiver adaptive control) technique
With RAC (Receiver Adaptive Control), the receiver automatically selects the optimal level decision point to obtain the best system performance, boosting signal/noise ratio, tolerance of non-linearity and dispersion and improving bit error performance of DWDM system.
ERZ modulation technique
ZTE's new code modulation mode enables better non-linearity tolerance and lower OSNR tolerance, with narrow spectrum. In comparison to CRZ technique, it supports narrower channel spacing, applicable to 80/160-wavelength DWDM system with 50GHz channel spacing and equivalent to increase signal-to-noise ratio by 3~5dB.
In addition, ERZ can be used with AFEC to improve system performance.
Enhance optical amplification technique
Offer EONA enhanced optical amplification unit and support widely tunable gain, decreasing amplification unit types and eliminating the needs to change optical amplifier configuration when line changes; With built-in 21dB insertion loss, the optical amplification unit leads the industry in available system redundancy.

Unique 80-wavelength single-level mux/dmux architecture allows for 80-wavelength multiplexing/demultiplexing without OCI, enabling slot occupation and power consumption to be down by 20% and 50% respectively.
OSPF-based supervisory channel
Based on OSPF protocol, it implements auto discovery of NEs, automatic route configuration and features good network scalability.
It automatically updates all routes when adding new nodes, plug and play NE, eliminating the needs to configure routing table manually; automatically and rapidly restores route when network topology changes, such as occurrence of node failure.
Wavelength add/drop function
Designed with flexible mux/dmux architecture, ZXWM M900 enables agile add/drop of 1-96 wavelengths. It support fixed optical add/drop multiplexing (FOADM) and reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexing (ROADM) functions.
APO (Auto Performance Optimization): secure and reliable optical power auto balancing technique
Embedded sub-network-level performance optimization algorithm is used to automatically establish and retain the optimized status of system optical performance, as exemplified by OSNR, maintain optimal overall system performance, drive down maintenance cost and improve maintenance efficiency, applicable to WDM system with frequently changing fiber parameters.
