5 Protecting,Maintaining,Installing & Adjusting,Using and Service5.1 Protecting and Maintaining5.1.1 The valve must be kept in the dry and ventilated room, and both sides protected by covers always.5.1.2 The valve must be checked periodically, eliminate the dirt, and put the protected oil to the machining faces.5.1.3 After installing, the valve must be examined and repaired regularly.5.1.4 After checking the assemble, the valve must be tested by seal pressure and record in detail to delve.5.2 Installing & Adjusting5.2.1 Before assembling, check that the valve symbol if suit to the using requirement carefully.5.2.2 Before assembling, must check the internal and seat, and the dirt not be allowed to attach them.5.2.3 When assembling or disassembling, the needed space must be considered.5.2.4 When the valve be installed in the fitted conduit, they must be wide-open to avoid the wedge to be damage from the iron rust of the fitted conflict or others.5.2.5 After for being kept a long time, the valve must be operated testing before using.5.2.6 Check that if the bolts had be screwed down equal.5.3 Using5.3.1 When being used, the wedge must be wide open or close, opening the wedge to adjust the flow quantity is not be allowed, otherwise which will damage the seat when there is high flow velocity in medium.5.3.2 Where being used, should be often added the copper-bearing lubricant into the sides of stem acme threads.5.3.3 Opening or shutting the valve, must use the hand-wheel, instead of lever or other tools.5.4 ServiceML/JS24-2004 WEDGE VALVE USING INDICATION BOOK 3/3 The fault will happen probably | The reason of fault | The ways to eliminate |
