This is a NTC thermistor temperature sensor which is used in the industrial applications such as air condition and heater. With NTC, resistance decreases as temperature rises to protect against inrush overvoltage conditions. Commonly installed series in a circuit. Wired NTC Thermistor- 5K OHM. Temperature sensors are among the most commonly used sensors. All types of equipment use temperature sensors, ranging from computers, cars, kitchen appliances, air conditioners, and home thermostats. from smartphones and mobile devices to smart homes and buildings.

Encapsulation
        The temperature sensing element and the lead wire solder joints shall be fully encapsulated with either epoxy coating or potted in polyimide tubing. Refer to the dimensions for the physical constraints.

Lead wire
   Lead wires shall be 30AWG with stranded conductor. The outer diameter of the insulation jacket shall be 0.6mm or larger. Teflon (PTFE) or other high temperature and
low outgassing insulation material can be accepted. Colour of wire can be either white or yellow.


Wire Twisting
  Lead wires shall be twisted together with one or more twists per every centimeter (cm) before terminating on the sensing element and in the connector. This is to allow free rotation of the conductors while the lead wires together.

Termination
  The free end of the lead wires shall be crimped with Molex 50058-8000 (or 50058-8100 loose piece) terminal.
