Why meltblown fabric is important?
Disposable face masks are composed of three layers: spunbond layer, meltblown layer, and spunbond layer. The spunbond layers and the meltblown layer are both made of polypropylene (PP) material. Among them, melt-blown nonwoven fabric is the core material for disposable masks. It is a kind of ultra-fine fiber non-woven fabric, with fiber fineness 0.5-1.0um. With nice filterability, shielding, heat insulation and oil absorption, the meltblown non-woven fabric can block larger dust particles, and attract fine dust, bacteria and virus droplets by the static charge on the surface.
Process Flow of Meltblown Production Line
The process flow as followings:
Melt extrusion -> Filter System -> Measuring System -> Hot Air System -> Die Unit -> Electret treatment -> Rewinding system
