Introduction:
The throttle position sensor is also called the throttle opening sensor or the throttle switch. Its main function is to detect the engine is in idle condition or load condition, is the acceleration condition or the deceleration condition. It is essentially a can and a few switches, on the throttle body, the axis of the resistor is linked with the throttle door, it has two contacts: all open contact and idle contact. When the throttle door is in an idle position, the idle contact closes, to output an idle condition signal to a computer; when the throttle door is in another position, the idle contact opens, and the output is relative to the voltage signal at different corners of the throttle door, the computer can identify the engine load according to the signal voltage value; according to the signal voltage in certain time changes increase or decrease rate recognition is accelerated condition or deceleration condition.
