Product Descriptions
QBH FLANGE NUTS. Flange nuts are hex nuts with a bottom circular flange that is larger than their
top hex section. There are two types commonly available: flange lock nuts, which are prevailing
torque type lock nuts, and serrated flange nuts, which are free spinning but have a serrated
bearing surface to grip the mating surface.
Applications
The high-strength nut DIN 6923 is used in Machine and Automobile Construction, Instrument
Making, National Economy for Reliable Fastening of Units and Structural Elements together
with other metric fasteners. The nut has a hexagonal head and a flat flange with notches.
