Gate valve is one of the most common isolation valves. This kind of valve can be found in every refinery, chemical plant, power station and industrial enterprise production equipment, and its manufacturing size can range from dn6 to 4200. The purpose of gate valve selection is to cut off the fluid. Because of this reason, gate valve is usually called "block" valve or "block" valve. Gate valve is generally used in fully open or fully closed operation. When fully open, the pressure drop through the gate valve is very small; When fully closed, it has good pressure sealing performance. Due to the fit of gate and seat ring, almost no leakage occurs when the gate valve is closed. However, in the case of very low back pressure (generally not less than 0.34 bar, 1 bar = 10 ^ 5 Pa), some leakage may occur. Another advantage of gate valves is that they usually open and close very slowly, which can prevent the damage of pipeline system caused by fluid water hammer effect.

Flanged ends cast steel gate valve are used to cut or connect the pipe meia under nominal pressure between PN 1.6~42.0 MPa (Class150-2500), working temperatures ≤600ºC in oil industry, chemical industry, fossil-fired power plants. 

The main structure features include:
1. Both design and manufacture are carried out strictly following API 600, API 602, API 6D. The products feature a reasonable structure, reliable seal, good performance and nice modeling. 
2. Co hard alloy welded sealing surface, which is wearing resistant, erosion proof, abrasion proof and long-lived. 
3. The surface and the adjusting media of the valve shaft are nitrogenized so that it is erosion and abrasion resistant.
4. PN ≥15.0 MPa (Class 900), the middle cavity use a self-tightening sealing structure to have the sealing performance reinfored along with the pressure rise so as to ensure the sealing performance. 
5. There is no backward sealing structure in the valve, so the ssealing is reliable.
6. The material of the filling and the flange size can be chosen and matched according to the applications and the requirements of the Clients. It can satisfy all kinds of working requirements.
