Water-cooled chillers feature a water-cooled condenser connected with a cooling tower. They have commonly been used for medium and large installations that have a sufficient water supply. Water-cooled chillers can produce more constant performance for commercial and industrial air conditioning because of the relative independence to fluctuations of the ambient temperature.

3. Eurostars water cooled commercial screw chiller main characteristics
(1)High Efficiency
*Utilizing advanced high efficient 5:6 screw compressor, equipping with high efficient condenser and evaporator and imported expansion valve to realize high EER .
*Heat recover is optional,client can choose partial heat recovery or total heat recovery, maximum hot water can reach 60ºC.
*Improve efficiency about 5% during heat recovery.
(2)Reliability Operation
*Multi-protection devices to keep units safety operation.
*Single compressor with 4 stages capacity control, double compressors with 8 stages capacity control, to ensure the best performance.
*All chiller units has passed national standard safety system test before leaving factory, to accord with national standard.
(3)Intellectualized Control System
*Adopt SCM micro computer control,can operate via centralized manage system (PLC controller is optional); clients also can choose remote controller which can also indicate chiller running condition.
*Micro computer touch control system, simply operation interface, indicating maintenance information in time. Optional for remote service if needed.
*Chiller unit control system can connect with customer central control system to know about the unit's operation condition.
(4)Easy and Simply Installation and Maintenance
*Refrigerant and refrigeration oil are charged well before leaving factory, just connecting with inlet/outlet water pipe and power on to start running it.
*Controller interface indicating fault information directly in order to know and maintain it in time.
(5)Special Design Optional
*Optional for refrigerant R22, R407C, R134A according to customer's need;
*Optional for different kinds of power supply,such as 380/400/415V-3PH-50HZ,220~230/440/460V-3PH-60HZ;

4.Eurostars water cooled screw chiller protection devices 
(1)Motor overload protection
Including for compressor motors, water pump motors.
There are some situations that will cause damage to motors in an industrial chiller, such as instable voltage, ambient temperature too high which mostly caused by poor ventilation, returning water temperature too high, etc. In these cases the motor running current will get higher than its safe range, which might damage the motor if keep it working. Built in protection for overload will shut down the chiller and warn you if the motors are working unhealthily.
(2)Compressor motor overheat protection
Compressor is the heart of an industrial chiller, it reflects problem of the whole chiller unit. The situation causes compressor motor overheat includes poor ventilation, dusty condenser, refrigerant circuit blocking, lack of refrigerant, etc.
This alarm reminds you to check through the chiller unit, prevent it from burning out because of unhealthy working condition. 
(3)Discharge temperature overhigh protection
Discharge temperature overhigh normally caused by high suction temperature, high compressor motor temperature, lack of refrigerant, etc. It works as supplementary of compressor motor overheat.
(4)High&low pressure protection
High pressure normally caused by poor ventilation, dusty condenser, refrigerant circuit blocking, etc.
Low temperature caused by lack of refrigerant, system blocking and so on.
(5)Returning water overheat protection
Chiller supply cold water to cool the production process or for commercial cooling, normally the returning water temperature will be 3ºC to 8ºC higher than supplied water. If the chiller is not creating cooling energy, or the chiller capacity is not enough for the application, the temperature in the circuit will get higher and higher. This will cause damage for the production even the equipment.
While a chiller got an alarm function for returning water temperature, we can learn the situation promptly and make reaction.
(6)Low water flow/level protection
For a chiller with no open-circuit water tank, there will be a water flow switch to make sure the water circuit is working, preventing both production process and chiller unit from harmed by circuit blocking or water leaking.
(7)Phase protection
If an industrial chiller was falsely wired, motors will revert, which is a serious problem for all the motors. Phase protection will remind you to connect the power in a right way.
(8)Anti-freezing protection
This function prevents the water in the circuit from freezing, so to make sure the cooling circuit working in a healthy condition.

8. Eurostars chiller swing and placement
When you unload and install the big chiller, we suggest to transit by crane.

*Swing
(1)Before delivery, Eurostars chiller has been tested and packed, in order to make sure the unit can be transferred to the destination at the right situation. The mounter, bearer and the hoisting worker should avoid the angle valve, pipes and some other place to collision, or improper operation to damage the unit, otherwise the refrigerant will leak out.
(2)Keep the chiller horizontal when transfer, crane with the lifting mark is available, use the bottom holding hole. Strutting should be put to the place where sling contact the unit, and ensure the sling can hold the weight of the chiller. Otherwise it will make serious bodily injury or damage to the chiller. Do not use the forklift to lift or move the unit.
(3)If do not have the vertical lifting equipment, horizontal scroll method can be used, use the jack to lift a certain high, put the roller under the skid base, take down the skid after the unit was rolled to the position. The strength can only be put on the frame or the skid by using this method.
Notice:Do NOT damage the chiller, remain the unit on the skid when haulage or swing, remove the skid unless the unit is in right position.

*Placement
(1)After the unit is in right position, remove the skid, adjust horizon by bubble cell, fix the bottom of the chiller to the base by using anchor bolt. Suggest to put a 15~20 cm anti-vibration cushion between the bottom of the chiller and the base.
(2)The chiller shall be installed in basement, ground floor or special machinery room. If install in the building is necessary, make sure the floor can endure the running weight of the chiller, reinforce the floor board if needed. Meanwhile, check the floor if it is horizontal. We suggest to set the spring snubber according to the running weight.
Notice:This chiller is not suitable for open field that without any protective measures.
