2000KVA Reactive Load Bank for Generator Testing
2.1 Measuring Function
Steady-state Test: load power in rated range, measure generator steady-state 3 phase voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, and running time.
2.2 Control Mode
(1) Control Mode: local, remote or intelligent control(software) for choosing.
(2) Local Control: local control panel with several power steps, load or unload by switch on-off and read parameter values from measuring meter.
(3) Remote Control:through the switch in the remote control box, control the load over a long distance.
(4) Intelligent Control: through data processing software, realize all the test functions, display, record and manage the testing data, and generate curves, graphs and tables can be printed.
(5) Control Mode Interlock: with control mode switch, no matter chooses which mode, operation of other mode is invalid, avoid the clash.
2.3 Intelligent Load Function
(1) Communication Mode: using photoelectric isolated RS485 communication serial port connect to PC, and with great anti-interference performance to make system control stable. Through converts like USB or RS232 realize communication protocol conversion.
(2) Load Mode: steady-state load (manual load, preset load and automatic load) and transient state load (instant load and instant unload).
(3) Manual Load: input power and power factor, and load according to the preset value.
(4) Preset Load: input generator related parameters, then choose the preset proportion from 0% 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% or other available order and calculate the power value automatically and realize rapid load.
(5) Automatic Load: set several load stages and duration, then complete the process according this stages automatically. Pause at any time or start to next stage in the load process.
(6) Parallel Test: several load banks work in parallel, the parallel test via software. Parameters of each set can be displayed in each meter and total parameter values can be displayed and recorded.
2.4 Data Manage Function
(1) Real-time Monitor: through software display main parameter value, such as voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency and time.
(2) Data Collection Interval: the minimum steady-state data resolving time is 1 second, and the minimum transient data resolving time is 40μs.
(3) Stable Data Comparisons: the max value and min value of all the parameters in steady-state test are listed in software interface; it is convenient for user to compare.
(4) Data Save and Query: all test data are saved in the software, and according to generator set number easy to fast query in the history test data.
(5) Graphical Display: show real-time or history test data, and support to print curve and graph as follows:
1) Voltage, current, frequency and power curves in real-time; 2) voltage curve;
3) Current curve; 4) power curve; 5) frequency curve; 6) power factor curve;
(6) Test Report: display and support to print reports as follow:
1)Test report of generator set steady-state performance; 2)testing data report
(7) Data Format: all curves and graphs are outputted as".jpg"format, testing reports are outputted as".xls"format, and can be printed.
2.5 Protection
(1) Overvoltage Protection: the input load voltage is over the safe threshold value, system unload automatically and give an alarm.
(2) Short Circuit Protection and Over Current Protection: when short circuit, fuses in the load bank can insure to unload automatically.
(3) Overheating Protection: temperature is over the safe threshold value, system unload automatically and give an alarm.
(4) Fan Delivery Protection: insufficient air volume with any fan 2450m³/h, system unload automatically and give an alarm.
(5) Emergency Stop: manually press the Emergency Stop switch on the panel, then load bank is in locked state, and cannot do any operation.
(6) Protection Switch: some protection with switch, when misinformation or in special need, user can close the corresponding protection function temporarily.
(7) Safety Monitor: through indicator lights on main interface, user can monitor system state. When system abnormally stop and protect, software interface prompt the cause immediately.
