Promethicarb hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder, soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in chloroform, insoluble in ether.Propiocaine hydrochloride belongs to amide local anesthetic, which is suitable for epidural anesthesia Chemicalbook, conduction anesthesia and infiltration anesthesia.The effect intensity and speed of local anesthesia are similar to lidocaine, but the effect time is longer, the toxicity is lower than lidocaine, and the accumulation is smaller because of the rapid metabolism.

Function 

Propitocaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic of the amino amide type,it is often used in dentistry. Prilocaine is also often combined with lidocaine as a preparation for dermal anesthesia, for treatment of conditions like paresthesia.
