Product description

Ceramic honeycomb filters are mainly used in metallurgy and foundry industries. The product has the characteristics of large surface area, high mechanical strength, and good thermal shock resistance. Its main materials are mullite, cordierite ceramics, Corundum-mullite,alumina and so on. Mullite-based ceramic materials can withstand severe pouring thermal shock and extreme pouring temperature. The honeycomb design also provides an engineering balance between flow rate and strength. The honeycomb ceramic filter has precise dimensions, good thermal stability, high specific surface area and excellent resistance to acids and alkalis. It is suitable for a wide range of filtration applications of ferrous and non-ferrous metal castings.
By using Al2O3, it independently developed a pore filter with a pore density of 400 pores per square inch, compressive strength> 20 mPa, and porosity> 20%. The shape of this filter includes spherical, polygonal and mesh partitions. Because this filter has strong corrosion resistance, high adsorption rate, no shedding and enhanced durability, it has been favored by European and American customers for many years and used as a carrier for desulfurization and denitrification catalysts in the petrochemical industry.

Experiments show that after using the honeycomb ceramic filter, the mobility of molten aluminum is increased by about 25% to 30%. Casting scrap rate is reduced by 85%; casting strength is increased by 10% to 20%; molten iron migration rate is increased by 10% to 15%; hole defects in castings are greatly reduced; casting processing performance is greatly improved. Since impurities are filtered out, hard spots in casting are also eliminated. At present, honeycomb ceramic ceramic filters have been used in many casting fields such as aerospace, automobiles, machinery, etc. to improve the reliability and performance of casting.
