Description:
The spacer damper is a fitting installed in the bundled conductors to fix the distance between each bundled conductor ,avoid the collision of conductors and restrain breeze vibration.The spacer damper is installed in the middle of the span at a distance of 50-60m in general.The spacer damper can be divided into two split,four split,six split and eight split type.Compared with the vibration amplitude for bundled conductors without spacer damper,the two split type conductor reduces 50%,four split type reduces 87% or 90%.


Technical and requirements:
The main technical requirement for spacer damper is that the clamp must have enough grip strength,no looseness in long service and have to bear the centripetal force and fatigue under long - term vibration of split conductors in short circuit.


Types and Features:
Spacer bars can be divided into damping and rigidity type in terms of service performance.The wearproof rubber blanket is inserted into the moving parts of damping type to take away the vibration and then generate damping effect on wire vibration.This type of spacer damper is suitable for various regions.However,considering the economy of the transmission line, this type of spacer spacer is mainly used in the area where the conductor is prone to vibration.The rigidity type without the rubber blanket is generally used in area not easy to generate vibration or as jumper spacer damper for the bad vibration reduce performance.
