Moxibustion is an ancient Fire therapy 

1. Moxibustion is a holistic therapy used in Chinese medicine and dates back thousands of years.  The plant "mugwort" (Ai or Ai Cao ) is used specifically for its healing properties.  Moxibustion technique is to burn moxaon either above the skin, directly acupuncture points n the skin, or placed on the acupuncture needles. 

2. Ling Shu, Guan Neng says that where needle does not work, moxibustion does.
