Hydroxychloroquine sulfate belongs to the 4-aminoquinoline antimalarial drug, which is composed of two aromatic rings, one ethyl in chloroquine is replaced by one hydroxyethyl. In the 1950s, with the use of antimalarial drugs in the treatment of systemic Chemicalbook lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine sulfate for the treatment of rheumatic diseases was confirmed. FUNCTION And APPLICATION

Hydroxychloroquine sulfate is an anti-malarial drug and also has anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and anticoagulant effects. Currently, hydroxychloroquine is mainly used in clinical treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile chronic arthritis, discoid lupus erythematosus and systemic erythema Lupus, but the clinical effect is slow, often requires 2 to 4 months of Chemicalbook time. The pharmacological effect of this drug is not very clear, it may be related to stabilizing the lysosomal membrane, inhibiting the formation of prostaglandins, inhibiting the chemotaxis of polymorphonuclear cells and the role of phagocytic cells, and may interfere with the monocyte interleukin- 1 formation and inhibition of neutrophil superoxide release.
