Description:
AvaSpire AV-722 CF30 is a 30% carbon fiber reinforced version of AvaSpire AV-722. This formulation offers improved part economics relative to 30% carbon fiber reinforced PEEK while retaining most of the desirable high performance attributes of carbon fiber reinforced PEEK.
These attributes include chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, and long term thermal oxidative stability. The excellent balance of properties of AV-722 CF30 makes this grade well suited for a broad range of applications across a number of industries, including healthcare, transportation, electronics, oil and gas and chemical processing. The melt processing behavior of AV-722 CF30 is overall very similar to that of 30% CF reinforced PEEK.


AvaSpire AV-722 SL30 is a wear resistant grade of AvaSpire polyaryletherketone (PAEK) designed to provide low wear rates in both non-lubricated and lubricated environments. In addition to the outstanding wear resistance, the resin also offers the outstanding combination of ultra performance attributes commonly known for PEEK.
These include: chemical resistance, mechanical strength and stiffness, even at elevated temperatures, as well as long-term and high-temperature thermal-oxidative stability.

AvaSpire AV-722 SL30 is formulated with the ternary anti-friction/anti-wear additive system comprised of carbon fiber, graphite, and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE.) It offers wear resistance performance comparable to PEEK grades with this modifier system while being more cost-effective. This resin is a low melt flow (high viscosity) grade designed for use in injection molding of less intricate shapes or parts. By virtue of its high viscosity at low shear rates, the resin has high melt strength, and, as such, is extrudable into stock shapes such as rods, pipe, tubing and profile.The resin can be melt processed using conventional equipment and techniques. Potential applications for AV-722 SL30 include bushings, bearings, wear strips, wear rings, rollers, and other parts or components where sliding friction is encountered. The resin is black in color in its natural state.

AvaSpire AV-750 GF40 is a 40% glass reinforced polyaryletherketone (PAEK)designed to fill the marketplace need for a lower-priced PEEK (polyetheretherketone).This resin provides the typical chemical resistance expected of PEEK while maintaining excellent elevated temperature properties.

Overview:
AvaSpire PAEK (polyaryletherketone) is a family of high-performance polyketones tailored to fill cost and performance gaps between PEEK and other high-performance polymers.
For example, ductility and toughness can be significantly improved versus comparable grades of PEEK, delivering 20% higher tensile elongation at yield and doubled tensile elongation at break values.

Depending on the grade, AvaSpire PAEK outperforms comparable grades of PEEK.
