Intended use: For the transport and preservation of clinical samples.It is not used for microbial identification and drug sensitivity test.
Principle of test: Hank's balanced salt to build a neutral environment;Bovine serum albumin (bsa) is used as a protein stabilizer together with Hank's balance salt to increase the survival time and infection stability of the virus.Antibiotics have a broad spectrum of antibacterial action;Phenol red is an acid-base indicator, with a pH value of 6.6 (yellow) to 8.0 (red), and a pH value of 7.2 to 7.4.
Main components: Hank's balance salts, phenol red, bovine serum albumin, gentamicin, polymyxin B, cryoprotectants, etc.
Storage conditions and validity: Storage conditions: 5-25ºC validity: 12 months
Sample requirements: The specimens shall be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 2 working days after collection, and the storage temperature shall be 2-8ºC.If the samples cannot be sent to the laboratory within 48 hours, they should be stored at -70ºC or below, and the samples should be sent to the corresponding laboratory within 1 week.Repeated freeze-thaw of specimens should be avoided.
Usage:
1. According to the sampling requirements, swabs are used to collect samples.
2. Place the swab after sample collection into a sterile sampling tube.
3. Break the swab at the easily broken cut point of the swab rod and discard the tail.
4. Tighten the cover of sterile sampling tube.
5. Label the information as required on the label of the sterile sampling tube.
6. Specimens should be transported to the corresponding influenza monitoring network laboratory within 2 working days after collection, and the storage temperature should be 2-8ºC;If the samples cannot be sent to the laboratory within 48 hours, they should be stored at -70ºC or below, and the collected samples should be sent to the corresponding network laboratory within 1 week.Repeated freeze-thaw of specimens should be avoided.
7. Specific sampling methods can be referred to the following:
1) pharyngeal swab specimen: with special sampling swab, wipe the posterior pharyngeal wall and tonsils on both sides with moderate force, avoid touching the tongue;Quickly dip the swab head into the sample solution, break the swab at the breakable point of the sample swab rod, and discard the tail.(applicable to product sampling)
2) nasal swab specimen: with a special sample swab, insert the swab head gently into the nasal palate in the nasal canal, stop for a moment, and then slowly rotate to exit;Quickly dip the swab head into the sample solution, break the swab at the breakable point of the sample swab rod, and discard the tail.(applicable to product sampling)
Limitations of test methods: This product is only used for the delivery and storage of virus samples.
Product performance index:
Appearance: the sampling liquid inside the tube is red, transparent and precipitation-free.
PH value: when stored at 25ºC, pH value is 7.2 ~ 7.4.
Loading quantity: not less than the labeled quantity;
Stability: the product shall maintain the stability of various properties within one month after the expiry date.

1. Do not contact the sampled liquid directly with the sampled person.
2. Do not use the sampling solution to infiltrate the swab before sampling.
