2. Large doses of drugs may lead to diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, dry skin, itching, dry eyes, nausea, vomiting, stomachache, hyperglycemia, hyperuric acid, arrhythmia, and hepatotoxicity.
3. Generally, 2 weeks after taking niacin, vascular dilation and gastrointestinal discomfort can gradually adapt, and gradually increase the amount of niacin can avoid the above reactions. If there is severe skin flushing, pruritus, gastrointestinal discomfort, should reduce the dose.
Patients with contraindication ulcer disease should not be allowed.
