Introduction:


This new solid surface sizing agent is polymerized by several kinds of cationic materials,using method is easy,doesn't need metering pump and special workers operating.It can enhance the paper surface strength and water resistant,save much cost.This product is well used in corrugated paper, line board paper,cardboard paper,etc.

Advantages:
1)It can well enhance paper's surface printing strength,short the curing time and save much cost.
2)It can totally replace the liquid surface sizing agent,in the mean time has the good water resistant property.
3)It has very good mechanical stability.
4)It has very good water resistance effect for paper,usually can reach 4-5minutes water resistance after paper machine,more than 6-8minutes water resistance after rewinding.

Application:

1)If oxidize the native starch with Ammonium Persulfate:
Add water and native starch into the gelatinization tank,then add the new surface sizing agent,and ammonium persulfate,stir evenly,start cooking,increase the temperature to 92 ºC (when temperature reach 75-80 ºC,slow the temperature increasing speed),keep warm for 20minutes.Drop the temperature to 70-75 ºC,pump the solution into the size press.

2)If oxidize the native starch with Amylase:
Add water and native starch into the gelatinization tank,then add the amylase,stir evenly,start cooking,increase the temperature at 92 ºC (when temperature reach 75-80 ºC ,slow the temperature increasing speed),the
viscosity decrease,add the new surface sizing agent,keep warm for 20minutes.Drop the temperature to 70-75 ºC,pump the solution into the size press.

3)If use Oxidized starch directly:
Add water and oxidized starch into the gelatinization tank,then add the new surface sizing agent,stir evenly,start cooking,increase the temperature to 92ºC (when temperature reach 75-80 ºC ,slow the temperature increasing speed),keep warm for 20minutes.Drop the temperature to 70-75ºC,pump the solution into the size press.

4)If use jet cooker:
Add water and native starch (or oxidized starch)into the gelatinization tank,stir evenly,then add the amylase(oxidized starch does not need),start cooking.Add the solid surface sizing agent after cooking,keep stir and mix for 20minutes at 92ºC,Drop the temperature to 70-75ºC,pump the solution into the size press.

Dosage:
1)New surface sizing agent:4-15kgs for one ton paper(10%~30%of the starch using quantity),actual dosage is according to the water resistance requirement.
2)Ammonium Persulfate:1-3kgs for one ton native starch.(Oxidized starch does not need)

3)Amylase:100-300g for one ton native starch.(Oxidized starch does not need) No need to add any other sizing agent and aluminum sulfate for the starch solution.

Package and Storage:
Packing: 25kg PP/PE bag
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, protecting from moisture. When loading and unloading, you should take care to prevent packaging and containers being damaged, avoiding leakage.
