Indication:
It is used to treat urticaria, allergic rhinitis, eczema, dermatitis, pruritus and so on.

Item specifications: 10mg*7tab/box

Usage and dosage:Oral administration
Adults and children over 12 years old: one tablet (10mg) or two tablets (20mg) once a day;
Children aged 6-11: half a tablet (5mg) once a day;
Children aged 2-5: 2.5mg once a day;
Children under 2 years old: the safety of this product needs further verification.
There is no need for dose adjustment in elderly patients and patients with liver and kidney dysfunction. For patients with severe liver failure, the daily dosage should not exceed 10mg / day.

Adverse reactions
Foreign literature reports: more than 1% of the adverse reactions in patients over 12 years old were headache (7.9%), salivation (3%), dry mouth (2.1%). In children under 12 years old, headache (11.7%), dry mouth (2.6%) and drowsiness (1.25%) were observed in more than 1% of the side effects.
Less than 1% of the adverse reactions reported in children over 12 years old were abdominal pain, dyspepsia, epistaxis, rhinitis, sinusitis, nausea and insomnia. Other adverse reactions less than 1% reported in children younger than 12 years old included increased appetite, diarrhea, rashes, irritability, emotional instability, hyperactivity, taste changes, and weakness.

Taboo:
Patients with allergies to ibustin or any ingredients in the tablet.

Matters needing attention:
Use carefully if there is history of liver dysfunction or disorder:
Care should be taken in patients with known risk factors for heart disease, such as QT prolongation syndrome, hypokalemia, and patients taking extended QT intervals or CYP3A4 enzyme inhibitors, such as pyrrole antifungal drugs and macrolides antibiotics (see drug interactions).
Since ibustin works within 1 to 3 hours after taking, it is not suitable for single drug emergency treatment of acute allergy.
Impact on driving and mechanical operation: after in-depth research, it is shown that the recommended treatment dose has no effect on the mental motor system. A study of the effect of ibastin on driving ability showed that ebastin under 30mg had no adverse effect on driving ability. The above conclusions indicate that ebastin has no effect on the ability to drive or use the machine at the treatment dose.

Medication for pregnant and lactating women:
The safety of ebastine for pregnant women is still lack of sufficient verification. Animal experiments showed that ebastine had no direct or indirect harmful effect on embryo development in early, middle and late pregnancy. No teratogenicity was found in animal experiments. But no human trials were conducted. So ebastine can only be used in pregnant women when absolutely necessary.
It is not clear whether ebastine is secreted with milk, so it is forbidden during lactation.
