Cefadroxil is first generation cephalosporins, has good antibacterial effects on G+ except enterococci bacteria and G- bacteria, such as penicillinase or penicillinase producing strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, pneumococcus, group A hemolytic streptococcus, Escherichia coli, Proteus on this product is sensitive; for Salmonella, Shigella, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae has antibacterial effect. MRSA, Enterococcus, indole positive Proteus, enterobacter, Sarre and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were resistant to this drug.
