Processing technology

1. Detection of saccharin sodium
Refined sodium is colorless crystal or white crystalline powder; Odorless or slightly fragrant, with strong sweet and bitter taste; It is easily weathered, soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. The specific identification methods are as follows:

(1) Take 0.5g of this product, add 10ml of water and 1ml of dilute hydrochloric acid, place it for 1h, filter out the white crystalline precipitate, dry it at 105 ºC for 2h after full water washing, and its melting point is 226-230 ºC.

(2) Mix 20mg of this product with 40mg of resorcinol, add 10 drops of sulfuric acid, stand still, heat, cool the mixture when it turns dark green, then add 10ml of water and 10ml of sodium hydroxide test solution to dissolve, and the solution emits green fluorescence.

(3) Dissolve 0.1g of this product in 5ml sodium hydroxide test solution, evaporate and dry after standing and heating, and melt carefully without carbonization, until there is no odor of ammonia, and then cool. Dissolve the residue in about 20ml water, neutralize it with dilute hydrochloric acid and then filter it. When one drop of ferric chloride test solution is added to the filtrate, it is purple or red purple.

(4) The residue obtained after ashing the product is a routine identification test reaction of sodium salt.

2,Process flow description

First place the mixed acid prepared by water, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid in the diazo pot, cool it, and then slowly add the mixture of methyl ester and sodium nitrite solution. The diazo temperature is kept below 15 ºC.

At the end of the reaction, the starch potassium iodide solution is light purple, and the product is methyl phthalate (hydrochloric acid) diazo benzoate solution (hereinafter referred to as diazo solution).

Cool the diazo solution to 10 ºC in the replacement pot, add copper sulfate, replace with sulfur dioxide, and precipitate methyl phthalate. After about 1 h, test with H acid. The end point of the reaction should fade. Then add toluene, chlorinate with chlorine, take the dark dark dark green of 2% benzidine ethanol solution as the end point, stand and layer, and the organic layer is methyl phthalate benzene sulfonyl chloride toluene solution (sulfonyl chloride for short).

Add sulfonyl chloride and water into the amination pot in turn, and add ammonia at 10 ºC for amination. The temperature can reach 70 ºC, and the pH value is more than 9. After standing, take the lower ammonium salt solution as o-formylbenzene sulfonimide ammonium solution (hereinafter referred to as amination solution). Put the amination solution into the acid-base pot, add toluene and 30% hydrochloric acid until the pH value is 1, cool down to 20 ºC after acid precipitation, wash the toluene layer with water to remove ammonium chloride to obtain insoluble saccharin toluene solution. Heat the solution, add sodium bicarbonate for neutralization, adjust the pH value to 3.8 ~ 4, and take the water layer after standing. Then it flows through the third workshop.
