Pharmacokinetics

TB-500 is a synthetic protein made up of 43 amino acids. It's an analog of thymosin beta-4, which naturally occurs in humans and is required for cell growth and differentiation. TB-500 contains the naturally occurring peptide LKKTETQ with the artificial acetylation of the N-terminus. In an animal study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, scientists found that TB-500 increased collagen deposition, keratinocyte migration and angiogenesis to promote faster wound healing. It shrunk wounds by 11% relative to controls and took effect whether administered topically or through injection
