• Description
Compared with T4, the binding degree of T3 to plasma protein was lower, and about 0.3% of T3 was in free form. Under normal thyroid function, the T1 / 2 of T3 in blood is about 1-2 days, slightly longer in hypothyroidism, and about 0.6 days in hyperthyroidism.
1. The dosage of or hypoglycemic drugs should be increased in diabetic patients when taking thyroid hormone.
2. When thyroid hormone is combined with anticoagulant such as dicoumarin, the anticoagulant effect of the latter is enhanced, which may cause bleeding; The dosage of anticoagulant should be adjusted according to prothrombin time.
3. When this kind of medicine is combined with tricyclic antidepressants, the effects and side effects of the two kinds of drugs are enhanced, and the dosage should be adjusted.
4. The dosage of thyroid hormone should be increased when taking estrogen or contraceptive because of the increase of serum thyroxine binding globulin level.
5. Cholestyramine or cholestipol can weaken the effect of thyroid hormone. When they are used together, they should be taken every 4-5 hours, and thyroid function should be measured regularly.
6. B adrenoceptor blocker can reduce the transformation of T4 to T3 in peripheral tissue, which should be paid attention to when combined.
