DCR38-UC is the ideal PC-linked USB contact smart card reader for a huge variety of mobile applications. Providing full compliance with all major industry standards, such as ISO/IEC 7816, USB CCID, PC/SC, and Microsoft WHQL, DCR38-UC works seamlessly with virtually all contact smart cards and PC operating systems. DCR38-UC is also the first smart card reader in the industry that offers the   reversible type C connector, improving on-the-go user experience.With its ultra-compact yet reliable Identity design and mechanical functionality, it is the ideal travel companion for mobile users requiring the same level of data protection as is required for desktop applications. The extended card data transmission rate of up to 600 bps with the support of TA1=97 enables the shortest possible transaction time for maximum end-user convenience. The Identity-specific Smart OS™ features easy and complete support of all major contact smart cards. The Identity driver platform, as well as the Windows® Plug-and-Play driver support, allow seamless integration into any end-user environment with very little or no administration.
