UV-531 (BP-12) Introduction
UV-531 is a benzophenone type UV absorber for plastics and other organic polymer. Owing to its strong, broad UV absorption properties and excellent polymer compatiliity. UV-531 exhibits very effiective protection of polymers against UV light exposure.
UV-531 retards yellowing, embrittlement, and mechanical property degradation of the polymer when properly used.
Ultraviolet Absorbent UV-531(BP-12) Uses
Ultraviolet Absorbent UV-531 is a high-performance anti-aging additive can absorb 240-340 nm UV light, with less coloration,non-toxic, good compatibility, migration of a small, easy processing and so on. It polymers have the greatest protective effect,and help to reduce color, while delaying yellowing and loss of physical properties of block. It is widely used in PE, PVC, PP, PS,
PC, organic glass, polypropylene fibers and ethylene vinyl acetate and so on. But also for dry phenolic and alkyd varnish,
polyurethane, acrylic, epoxy, and other products and automotive repair air-drying paint, powder coating, polyurethane, rubber products, providing them with a good light stabilizing effect. Amount of 0.1% -0.5%.
