About ZIKA IgG/IgM/NS1 test kit

Zika virus infection is based on symptoms and epidemiological history (e.g., mosquito bites, or travel to areas where Zika virus is known to exist). Because Zika virus can cross-react with other flaviviruses such as dengue fever, West Nile virus and yellow fever, it may be difficult to diagnose by serological methods. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and virus isolation and culture in blood can be diagnosed. Within 7 days of onset, if positive RNA of Zika virus was detected in peripheral serum, it could be diagnosed, but because the positive window of RT-PCR was relatively short (3-7 days), that is, the viremia period was short, the negative results outside the positive window could not be excluded from infection.

    Colloidal gold immunochromatographic technique was used to pre-coat gold-labeled recombinant antigen of Zika virus IgG/IgM detection kit. Anti-human IgG_chain monoclonal antibody, anti-human IgM_chain monoclonal antibody and rabbit anti-card removal antibody were coated on the detection line and control line of nitric acid fiber membrane respectively. When positive samples are detected, the serum IgG or IgM of the sample combines with colloidal gold labeled recombinant antigen Au-Dengue-Ag to form a complex. As the complex moves forward along the strip of paper, it passes through the detection line with pre-coated monoclonal antibodies against human IgG_chain or anti-human IgM_chain. A sandwich of "Au-Zika-Ag-anti-Zika antibody-anti-human IgG (or anti-human IgM_) -solid-phase material" was formed to agglomerate and colour. Free gold label antigen was enriched and coloured by binding with rabbit anti-Zika antibody at the control line. Negative specimens were only stained on the control line. During the examination, the serum (plasma) specimens with proper dilution are added to the sample adding place of the test card, and the results can be observed within 20 minutes.
