Description

L. bulgaricus LB45 was isolated from yoghurt. Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus (until 2014 known as Lactobacillus bulgaricus) is one of several bacteria used for the production of yogurt.
It can suppress intestinal bacterial proliferation and relieve lactose intolerance.

White to light yellow-colored, free-flowing powder.

Morphology

It's a gram-positive rod that may appear long and filamentous. It's non-motile and does not form spores.
