Terazosin hydrochloride is a quinazoline derivative and a competitive and orally active α1-adrenoceptor antagonist. Terazosin hydrochloride works by relaxing blood vessels and the opening of the bladder. Terazosin hydrochloride has the potential for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and high blood pressure treatment[1][2][3].

This product is a selective α1-blockers which can reduce peripheral vascular resistance, both for systolic and diastolic pressure  lowering effects. Usually not accompanied by tachycardia, electrolyte, blood glucose, liver and kidney function without adverse effects on blood lipids have some improvement. Selectively blocking the bladder neck, prostate gland and muscle α1 receptors are
membrane, thereby reducing muscle tension, reduce lower urinary tract resistance, ease due to benign prostatic hyperplasia of urinary frequency, urgency, dysuria and other symptoms.
