1.2738 is one improved kind of pre- hardened mirror plastic die steel. With the alloy optimization and structure control key technology,

This steel can replace the imported new large cross sectional prehardened plastic die steel such as 1.2738/718HH/P20 modified, etc.

P20+Ni, 1.2738 tool steels are used for low temperature applications that include injection molds and die casting dies. Main applications of P20 steel plate and bar:
Plastic moulds, die holder, backers, rames for plastic pressure dies, hydro forming mold tools.bolsters, die holders. Also suitable for other applications such as rails, shafts and wear strips.
