Product Description


Procaine, its hydrochloride is called Novocain. With its hydrochloride, it is a white crystalline or crystalline powder, odorless, with a slightly bitter taste, followed by a sense of paralysis, and soluble in water.
It is suitable for infiltration anesthesia, conduction anesthesia, subarachnoid anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and also used for local closure of pathological peripheral nerves.
Chemical properties white crystal. Melting point is 61 ºC. Dihydrate 51 ºC, melting point, its hydrochloride ([51-05-8]) for white crystalls or crystal powder, melting point 153-156 ºC.
