Overviews: Zinc stearate is a white powder, combustible, with a spontaneous ignition point of 900°C, a density of 1.095, and a melting point of 130°C. 

It has a slippery feel. It is insoluble in water, ethanol, ether, but soluble in organic solvents and acids such as hot ethanol, Chemicalbook turpentine and benzene.

Mainly used for soft products, it is characterized by inhibiting initial coloring and avoiding vulcanization pollution. Zinc stearate can also be used as styrene series (polystyrene and ABC, SAN resin), phenolic resin Chemicalbook, amino resin and other thermosetting plastics and polyester plasticizers, lubricants and release agents for transparent products. In the rubber industry, it is used as a lubricant and anti-sticking agent for rubber compounds, and an activator for vulcanization catalysts.
