Silver/silver chloride(Ag/AgCl) electrodes are made from very finely powdered high purity silver and silver chloride.They are mixed in a specific ratio and compacted into the electrode body at very high pressures. The resulting pellet is relatively thick and never needs to be rechloridized because it is a homogenous mixture.

By using a patented manufacturing procedure, we make top-of-the-line electrode sensors that incorporate a fine grain, homogeneous mixture of Silver and Silver Chloride. Furthermore, our Ag/AgCl electrodes are nontoxic, and because of their stability and reproducibility, they make excellent standard and reference electrodes.
 

Essentially non-polarizable

Less noise (from low frequencies)

Never need chlorinating

Reusable-Resurfaceable. No problem of surface abrasion

Less DC offset and less polarization and contribution to DC drift than many other types of EEG electrode
 

Resistant against surface abrasion, as a new surface can be exposed to restore the original performance of the electrode.
