LK-120 is a heavy-duty hand-cranked sounder that does not require power support. It is mounted on a steel stand. But the stand is dismountable and can be folded up for easy carrying. It was widely used as an air defense siren in the war years, and now it is mostly used for various emergency and disaster warning. People have many different names for it, for example, hand crank siren, manual air raid siren, manual siren, fire warning siren,flood warning siren, etc.

Now LK-120 is widely used in factories, schools, troops, forests, military camps, air defense, mountain rescue, coastal defense, fire protection, prisons, reservoirs, ships, mines, ranches, gas stations, airports, shopping malls, hotels, etc. for emergency warning, and warning for various natural disasters such as floods. LK-120 includes a handle, a gear speed increasing mechanism, a clutch slider, a stator wheel, a rotor wheel, a sound window cover, a gear box, and a box frame. The handle is connected to the driving shaft of the gear speed increasing mechanism, and the output shaft of the gear increasing mechanism is connected with the clutch sliding block by a pin, and the clutch sliding block is connected with the flange of the impeller by friction transmission. The purpose is to provide power by shaking the handle to make the alarm send out an alarm signal, the sound level depends on the speed of the hand. So, it doesn't need electric power support.
