Asparaginase is a kind of enzyme that can be used as a medication and in food industry. It is mainly extracted from E. coli. In the medical field, it can be used for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Function

Asparaginase is an enzyme preparation derived from E. coli, a cyclically specific anticarbonic drug that hydrolyzes the serum of asparagine into aspartic acid and ammonia, an amino acid essential for cell protein synthesis and proliferation.
